Restful Lakeside Getaway Cottage -Dogs allowed

This pond-side cottage is a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Sit on the enclosed porch and watch the water or enjoy the front porch swing where you can listen to the birds and frogs. We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter and 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens and Poinsett State Park. It is only 2 hours to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC & 3 hrs to the mtns. While it is conveniently located, this cottage offers a quiet place to put your feet up and rest.

This cozy cottage has 3 BR and 2 Baths and a stocked kitchen to make you feel right at home. Enjoy fishing from your private dock or take a spin in the paddle boat or kayaks provided. Location location! The "Corner Cottage" is a cozy home in the center of Sumter, right along a main street. Full of charm, this wee old house provides two stylish bedrooms, an office space, a like-new bathroom, and an updated kitchen. We are less than a mile from the beautiful Swan Lake Gardens, and shopping and dining are just around the corner. We're also not far from Shaw Airforce Base and the 95. Weary travellers welcomed! The Cabin at Minehill

Our cabin is located in Stateburg, SC between Columbia and Sumter and within a 5-15 minute commute to Shaw AFB and Sumter. It is a convenient stop between I-77 and I-95 and has close proximity to Poinsett and Congaree Parks and The Palmetto Trail. It sits on top of a hill offering panoramic views, quiet, and privacy. Mine Hill sunrises and sunsets are stunning. Reserve as a stopover, a retreat from the workday, or a romantic getaway and enjoy our cabin as a home away from home.

New floors and paint in January of 2023. Palm Trees, colorful flowers, hammocks and quiet space await in this tropic-like oasis just minutes from I-95/20.
