OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we don't use 'one size fits all' Wavestorm boards - we offer custom boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. We will take photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. If you would like pro photos please inquire, we do offer them at an additional fee. If you want to book for kids under 12 yo - please contact me directly for private lessons Your safety is our main priority that is why myself and all of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association), CPR & First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. We will be aboard a fully restored 1986 Electric Duffy Boat cruising through the canals of Historic Naples in Long Beach. This swamp land bought in 1907 turned into beautiful canals with multi-million dollar homes and lined with million dollar boats. The area surrounding Naples is home for great food, beer, and wine. We will sample some of these amazing treats from one of the first Long Beach Italian restaurant as we talk about how the area began and survived through earthquakes & strange politics. We will head out aboard the Duffy 18 and head through Long Beach and Naples history, passing water front homes with stories that go back to the 1920's. Most mornings are quiet and the residents are out walking as you glide by with champagne in hand. Naples is a hidden treasure and seeing it from the canal brings a new perspective that many never see. When you think of canals in Los Angeles, Venice immediately comes to mind. But several miles down the coast in Long Beach, another seaside neighborhood boasts saltwater canals and picturesque bridges reminiscent of Italy’s Mediterranean shore: Naples. We will begin at the red barn where you will learn about this 12 acre sanctuary and the stories behind the 100+ rescue farm animals living on it. From there we will explore three different pastures that include horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and a goose. While you are here we are thrilled to guide you through an up-close experience with all of these amazing creatures while they roam freely. Many of these animals will walk right up to you to take a snack from your hand or allow you take a close-up photo with them! Discover the secrets of creating fresh dumpling wrappers, building flavorful sauces, and mastering the art of folding beautiful dumpling pleats. Back by popular demand! You will learn basic woodworking techniques by creating your very own air plant holder. A variety of woods will be available to choose from. You'll create a unique shape for your planter or you can use one of my ready-made templates. After cutting out your creation on the bandsaw and shaping it on the belt sander, I will show you how to expertly sand and finish your piece so that you can proudly display your holder at home, or give it as a gift. You'll leave with a finished piece and an air plant to put in it. Other things to note: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, things that you don't mind getting dirty. The woodshop is a dusty place! Long hair should be tied back.

Take in stunning views of the High Desert of the Mojave, accompanied by goats. We’ll meet our 15 friendly Nubian goats in their pens. They’ll wait for us to open their gate, and then these loving animals will show us the way. We’ll follow the herd at an easy pace into desert washes and onto boulders, where we’ll find beautiful spots to sit and chat—or simply gaze into the silence of the landscape, the gaping sky, and the goats enjoying themselves. We’ll walk about three miles and return with the goats after the sunset. We strive to integrate the natural wisdom of the llama with the cultural heritage of this intelligent creature by relating knowledge of the Andean cosmology and the Andean spiritual path. Here you will have the opportunity to meet, greet, interact with and communicate with our specially trained llama friends. This Experience is about llamas for wellness and educational proposes. We do believe in llamas as healers and messengers of Mother Nature (Pachamama). We want you to experience their medicine and help us on their training too. Safety is always top priority for guests and the llamas, so our program will be different on a winter day after a rainy week than it will be on a hot August afternoon. Please wear comfortable shoes and country clothing. We will put you into situations where you will be able to understand who these llamas are, personally discovering the different personalities that make up our herd. This close-knit group experience also features a guided tour through our wolf den as we share the pack’s remarkable stories of resilience. You may even leave with a friendly wolf kiss or two! Our desert journey will begin with a Llama greet and treat at the ranch. Our fabulous llama quartet will gather around to say hello. At first you will be astounded at their size and strangeness, but as I have seen time and time again, your reservations begin to melt away and our beautiful and majestic llamas will charm you with their gregariousness, and curiosity. One of our Llama's will be harnessed and ready to go on our 2 mile desert walk, this usually takes anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes long. The rest the time we will Back in the corral with all four llamas and the two goats for you to have some more together time back in the corral with all four llamas and the two goats. Vast open views of our scenic desert include Joshua Tree mountain range, Johnson Valley, and the ancient Black Mesa. As you walk with Llama, you will be amazed at the variety of plants and creatures you will see. From the prehistoric Creosote, and the majestic Joshua Trees, cuddly teddy bear cactus, to the miner's lettuce, Yucca fruit and other seasonal edible desert plants, our Master gardener desert docent, and Lllama extraordinaire will unlock the ancient mysteries of the desert for you. Take a tandem Hang Glider flight with an accredited instructor over Southern California. I'll handle the takeoff and landing, and you'll get to enjoy the amazing experience of soaring in a hang glider on a 15- to 45-minute flight. I’ll point out landmarks from above and explain how to maneuver the glider. If you’re up for it—and conditions allow—you may even get to take the controls for a bit. We even have cows that loves a scratch behind the ears or to sit in your lap. La Jolla Bay is a Marine Protected Area that is home to a thriving ecosystem that boasts a high concentration of sea life, has a natural boat launch, which allows safe ocean entry year-round, and is famous for its Sea Caves and Marine Reserve. No experience is required. Great for all skill levels. Your guide will kick things off with a paddle tutorial on the beach. If surf exists, we will help push your kayak through any breakers. As we paddle through La Jolla’s Marine Reserve keep an eye out for Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Dolphin and Gray whales in the fall/winter. Note: We cannot guarantee sea life. If conditions are safe, we will help guide your kayak into Emerald Cave. If it's not safe to enter Emerald Cave, we will still paddle out & explore La Jolla's World-Famous Marine Reserve. Sail the coastline on a super speedy and fast RIB (Zodiac-style) boat with an exhilarating ride to the grounds and learn about the behaviors of migratory whales, great white sharks, and dolphins. Watch up close on the bow of a patrol RIB motor-powered boat to see these majestic ocean mammals and animals. California sea lions are a guaranteed sighting! We consistently see pods of dolphins almost on a daily basis (90% chance). Whales will depend on season and migratory patterns, possibility of a great white sighting is rare unless during breeding season. Our excursions create many opportunities for close encounters while always adhering to MMPA and NOAA guidelines. As we are on the ocean with mother nature, there is always a chance of getting wet so bring a towel, windbreaker or jacket! I am offering an hour of meditation, breath work, sound healing and other relaxing techniques in the desert. As humans we are a microcosm of the macrocosm. Tools to bring yourself into a state of peace can be taken with you wherever you go. The experience will be simple and gentle. All levels are welcome. We will open the class by a couple sounds of AUM to create some vibrational bounds with each other. A guided meditation will follow as well as different breathing techniques.
