You will have plenty of time to shop and taste the local flavours at the Town of Banff where you just might even find Bigfoot! We will also showcase a couple of our favourite places in between stops From mid June to mid October you will stop at the spectacular and must see Moraine Lake! This is my favourite summer lake in all of the parks, you'll feel as if you are seeing heaven on earth as we drive through the Valley of the Ten Peaks! This experience is about wowing you all day! We'll adapt your day according to wildlife sightings, weather conditions, and traffic flow for better enjoyment. Our small groups are up to 10 guests and your day will last 10 to 12 hours depending on the season. Your adventure will start from the moment we pick you up in Downtown Calgary or Canmore, until we drop you off again at the end of the day! Loaded with waterfalls and beautiful trellis work we will make our way up to the clevland Dam at the base of the North Shore mountains for jaw dropping views of the iconic Lions and Grouse mountains and gorgouse Capilano lake. This lush and stunning rainforest is an absolute specticle with its enormous Coastal Douglas Fir and graceful Cedars trees. This is the best place to expirence the incredible North Shore of Vancouver! Like a scene out of Jurassic Park the ferns and hanging mosses will tickle your senses and leave you awestruck and delighted! Conditions (wind, rain, light direction) on our day will determine how our time will be used. During summer months when the road is open, we can go to a historic spot that has many physical remnants of the coal mining history in Banff. You will be encouraged to explore your sides, silly and serious. Bask in the breathtaking vista while you star in your very own photo shoot designed to be both relaxing and fun. You will have an online gallery from which to choose your favourite 15 printable, shareable image files within 7 - 10 days. *Note: This experience is not necessarily private, but is likely to be. We have one of the world's longest waterfront bike paths and one of the most impressive bike route networks of any city in North America. We'll be biking at a leisurely pace and making 'brakes' along the way for photos. I'll show you some of the best places to capture Vancouver's essence. Minimum age requirement of 10 After we pick you up from your Airbnb in Whistler we will head over to one of the stocked lakes in town to catch Rainbow Trout which on average range between 10 & 14 inches in length. I will set up a large portable ice fishing shelter which will have a heater inside to keep you nice and toasty. After drilling a few holes into the ice with my powered Auger, I will have you fishing in no time. If it's a nice day you can move around the lake a lot more. This way, you can take in all the beautiful scenery the area has to offer which includes Whistler and Blackcomb mountain in the background. There is a good chance we will have the lake all to ourselves. It's the perfect getaway when you need a break from skiing and want some quiet time. This is truly a Canadian experience that you must cross off your bucket list. Great for groups, great for teams, and great for team-building.

We will meet downtown at a local cafe. We will get drinks as I explain how I will be prompting & directing you. Guests will meet the Host at a central location. This may or may not be at the foraging location. If needed the Host will shuttle guests to the foraged location. Each guest will be outfitted with the proper mushroom foraging tools and given a detailed explanation of what each piece of equipment is used for and how it is to be used. Guests will learn how to identify and recognize a few different species of wild mushrooms and have hands on experience learning about mycology and how to forage for wild mushrooms. Since there are thousands of species of mushrooms and fungi, only safe and edible mushrooms will be collected and learned about during this experience. Guests will spend 60-90min on a guided forage walking through mixed terrain in search of wild mushrooms. Once the experience is finished, the group will ensure we "leave no trace" and return back to the rendezvous where guests can provide feedback and be given the opportunity to purchase dried mushrooms previously foraged locally. (Mushroom Hunting is a very seasonal and temperamental activity, guests should be aware there is a small chance that fresh edible mushrooms may not be discovered during their experience however the Host guarantees that wild edible mushrooms will be integrated into the whole experience as well as a fulfilling learning experience!) Other things to note The guide will provide resources to help identify common edible mushrooms via literature and photos. There's a chance that not every foraging experience will result in edible mushrooms but be prepared to have a full day of learning and experiencing the outdoors!

I have created a simple workshop that uses paper, ink & paint, on a small 8"x 8" canvas. I will guide you step by step as we prepare our papers and select the components to create our small art project. Once we have assembled our supplies (to your choosing) we will put it all together, ready for you to hang at home. Yes you will be the artist! Other things to note: No previous art experience necessary. I will work with you and step-by-step we will complete a take-home 8" x 8" ready to hang canvas. As a bonus we will use the same techniques to create a bookmark! The class is approximately 1.5 hours but best to give yourself a little extra time. This is meant to be a stress free, fun and creative experience. Even though I have listed limited date's- I am available other days or times, to suit your schedule. We will take you on an excursion to Sandy island only accessible by boat. This is a designated marine park with picturesque walking trails. You will get very close via the motorboat then you will be transported to the island by a dingy or jet ski. We have all the safety equipment. Option 2. Choose to ride on one of our water towables- spinner is unique to our area!!

This allows you to get into the water and stay completely dry. Depending on the time of year, you may catch Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout or white fish and your experienced fishing guide will select a water body that will give you the best chance of catching one of these species. Because of this, you may be fishing in a creek mouth, river or lake. This experience involves fly fishing because it is the most productive way to catch fish in BC even if you've never done it before. I am very confident that we can teach you how to fly fish like the pros. This is truly a Canadian experience that you must cross off your bucket list.
